MICHIELOTTO is a world leader in Dock-arm manufacturing

The dockarms are specific types of lifting devices that are installed on dry dock and floating dock and are used as support during the phases of welding, sandblasting and painting or just maintenance on the ships’ hull.

They are composed by a head beam that moves on the runway placed. The end carriage is connected the arm of that raises and lowers through a piston. At tip of the arm there is the operators’ basket. These machines are versatile, since they can reach any point of the ship’s hull, any type of needed operation.

MGS is now the world leader, the engineering and production of dockarms; up to date the machines built have been in A6-M6 with a maximum useful load of 600 kg, with an arm of 45 m.
